Black Rhino Residency: King Alpha, Ital Power

For the 30th Black Rhino Residency at Control Club, it only made sense to celebrate what sound system culture is all about. A night of the finest dub music, in great company, on a roaring set of speakers. On Saturday, November 7, we are welcoming two of the finest West London selectors King Alpha and Ital Power, each with a 3-hour set. Local selector and producer Little Tree will open the night and set the tempo. Operator of the London-based sound system with the same name, King Alpha is Ras Joseph’s lifelong project. Expect dubplates upon dubplates, bass pressure, and an intoxicating energy. Long-time friends and collaborators, Ital Power joins him on the night of November 7th, hailing from West London. Having operated a sound system and recording studio since 2008, followed by his own label in 2011, Ital Power’s experience makes him the right fit for this momentous occasion. Join us in celebration in the Berlin Room of Club Control on the 7th of November. Amplified by the Riddim Bandits Sound System.
