Reka Zalan [DE], Commisar Lag [RS] & Carmen

On Friday, November 6, the Berlin Room brings together three distinct approaches to techno. This is absolutely a night for the heads, a space where the low-end rumble fluently connects to the high-end hiss. BERLIN ROOM REKA ZALAN [DE] A product of Berlin’s vital underground, Reka Zalan builds bridges through sound. A Tresor resident and part of the Hard Wax record store team, she has deep roots in the city’s club culture, from Mensch Meier to ://about blank and community spaces that continue to shape her musical outlook. Her sets weave rattling percussion and psy-tinged grooves into a trippy, ever-shifting narrative arc, balancing the raw with moments of uplift. COMMISAR LAG [RS] A Serbian-born ambassador for true techno, Commissar Lag's name is synonymous to resilience and forward-thinking vision. His music language answers to no passing trend, as his vast experience is poured into a sound that is both timeless and uniquely his. Guided by the belief that all emotions in music are valid, his sets drive a sweat-inducing frenzy to unite the floor with a powerful, inclusive message. CARMEN CARMEN’s sonic world is a carefully curated mix of hypnotic textures, raw beats, and dreamy elements. Her sets blend heavily charged atmospheres with deep passages, inviting the floor to explore the unconventional. Her ongoing commitment to the local techno community is part of the picture, grounding escapism in a shared culture of listening and movement.
